Librarian Certification Guide for the state of Idaho

Last Reviewed: August 23rd, 2022

Certification, or licensure, is the gatekeeping process state governments implement in order to maintain a certain standard of performance within certain professional positions. However, most all other librarian specialties require a masters degree in Library and Information Sciences as an entry-level position prerequisite.
